Внешний вид
In Tinkers’ Construct, tool and part creation revolves around two core elements: Patterns and Casts. Understanding the difference between them prevents most beginner mistakes.
What Are Patterns
Patterns are wooden templates used to:
- Create tool parts in the Part Builder
- Produce metal Casts
- Handle early-game crafting
Features:
- Crafted from wood
- Consumed when making Casts
- Used mainly in early progression
What Are Casts
Casts are metal molds used for casting parts in the Smeltery.
Advantages:
- Reusable
- Not consumed
- Ideal for mass production
Types of Casts
Main cast types include:
| Cast | Purpose |

| Pickaxe Head Cast | Pickaxe heads |
| Tool Rod Cast | Handles |
| Binding Cast | Bindings |
| Ingot Cast | Ingots |
| Nugget Cast | Nuggets |
| Gear Cast | Gears |

- Starting the game
- Crafting your first tools
- Creating Casts
When to Switch to Casts
Casts are required when:
- You have a Smeltery
- You work with metals
- You need mass production
Common Mistakes
- Trying to cast without a mold
- Using Patterns instead of Casts late game
- Losing Patterns when making Casts
